Questioning the broken parts

Questioning the broken parts

A Poem by The Ink Chapters
"

If I were free

"
Numb, quiet, disappearing
Lost, hurt, wounded
If I could call for help
What would I say?

Bleeding, aching, burning
Fear dripping with disbelief
Unattached, usurper
A future so changed
Faraway
If I could change it
What would I do?

Empty, hollow, longing
Unable to defend
Unable to release
Buried, smothered
Into a grave
Only my demons escape
If I could be free
Where would I go?

I felt intense feelings of entrapment in your lines. Much like a caged bird, you can still dream. Never give up on your dreams because sometimes they come true. All good wishes.

Very good point, we can always dream
Thanks for the review!
The overwhelming feeling is that all the negative emotions are consuming and building.

Focusing on the bad will only make it worse. We are all broken and flawed in some way or another. Life definitely gets chaotic and challenging.
