A Poem by Inishkea Bishop

Nothing in common but mutual lust.
You are the boy, I do not trust.
We kiss in the ally, I miss the last bus.
We laugh with our whole hearts, I picture it, us.
You are the light, I am the dust.

Only in your presence, do I exist, as more,
than just a speck amongst thousands,
like thousands, before.
None, but in your presence,
your presence,
adored.

Only then do I shine,
and glisten, and spark.
And become something magic,
like stars, in the dark.
