'Fine' haiku

'Fine' haiku

A Poem by Daniel Inger
"

Cheerful and pragmatic.

"
     Winter raging outside.
     Cold trying my resistance.
     But fine, like everyone.

The mere mention of 'Winter' does not make this a ku, the human nature aspect of this creation (imho) makes this a Senryu... either way I like it, nice to see a short in this place... good job I say, BG

I remember meeting some handful of people who absolutely love this form above all else. It is easy to see the draw of it. I read into it or interpret it here that "fine" takes on a slightly bitter tone, not one that is without hopes and dreams for a better time some spark-ful iridescent moment
