Candle

This is a 15 minute writing exercise. It's a poem about candles.

Why do we use these things?
Tiny controlled fires.
Saviours in powercuts,
but inferior when not in powercuts.
Not technically useful,
but still in existence.
Like outdated machines.
Like nuclear waste.
Or
Like natural wonders.
Like Art.
Like your best friend.
I like candles.
