Irrational thoughts

Irrational thoughts

A Poem by Riya

Someday I feel high, Someday I feel low,
I wish I could stop this irrational flow.
If you are reading this then please go slow,
my words need a thought, not a flash of go.
Remember those friends who never let you go,
who cried for you, when you didn't know?
The colours that you show are all full of filters,
ever someone dared to find and ask for the reasons?
Got a huge company of so called friends to laugh at your joke,
ever got someone who didn't leave you even you didn't know what the heck is the joke?
If yes then remember them,
write about them till your death.
Make them immortal,
because you know they are and were special.
Whatever might be the obstruction,
never forget someone who saw your imperfections but still was full of satisfaction.
Whatever might be the mistakes,
they once were the reason you used to laugh all through the day.
Hatred has no space in the room of love and friendship.
Even if it finds a space,
it will leave with the fresh sun rays.

These hit me hard, Riya! Imperfections are a part of every person. And sometimes it can lead to you discovering who you really are. So fearing them, wouldn't be a wise thing to do. Well-said, RIya! Thanks for sharing!

This poem is a upbeat read. I like how you say writing makes one immortal. We have that power sort of. Wonderfully penned. Tyfs

None of us is perfect. If we are loved for our imperfections as much as our good qualities, then we can count our blessings Riya. Much truth here in what you say.
