UNIVERSE- A beauty

A tribute to great astronaut 'Carl Sagan'. There are two Cosmos: the one inside of us and the one you are always seeking at the nightsky.

Life of highs and lows,  

Universe conspires and everyone flows. 

From a single cell in our bodies to the giant stars in our galaxies, 

Universe is existing, building infinite possibilities.

Created billions of years ago in an explosion called Big Bang,

I call it a beauty which is irreplaceable by any man.

As it is wisely said by Carl, “We all are made up of star stuff", 

Then why do we see discrimination, that's quite rough. 

I feel universe is everywhere, I call it a beauty which is in the air.

When we do what we love, we discovers Universe within ourselves,

it is a beauty which makes everything sounds well. 

Universe, not just a word to display stars and galaxies, 

It is a soul purpose of our species. 

For cosmologists, it maybe a game of theory, 

But for a 10-year old, it is a never-ending story. Are you curious to meet your extra-terrestrial friend? 

That is the beauty of Universe that can take you from impossible to possible end. 

I call it a beauty of Universe, where you find opportunities that are diverse. 

Everything is relative and Universe is no different, It depends on your perceptions that you make transparent. 

Curiosity led to discoveries, 

we all are surrounded by our own universal chemistries. 

I call it a beauty of Universe since history,

which will always remain a strange mystery. Universe will go on forever, 

there is always something new to discover. 

I call this discovery a beauty, 

That we all contain in the form of energy.

A vibrant poem about discovering the vast universe within ourselves. Patience, love, hate, pain, creativity, etc. I believe currently, being everyone living in isolation and fear, we begin to see more clearly what we bury deep within ourselves.

Carl Sagan is so popular, I've heard of him many times over, but I've never watched one of his programs. Your poem slides me into the fascination mindset of those compelled by this realm of study (which I am not). In my creative writing, I struggle with a lack of imagination to reach beyond that which can be fathomed, trying to get to that which cannot be imagined. I am inspired by many others here at the cafe who go into the galactic realms in their writing all the time. Maybe having an intense interest in what you've written about here, the connection between our minds & the mysterious cosmos, this could be a building block for manifesting a great imagination in one's writing (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

When you ponder on the universe and what it means , you can certainly get lost in thought. Each individual will have their own ideas. As I read your lines, imagery of the vastness flooded my mind.
