Eyes

Eyes

A Poem by Ben M

I look into your eyes at the future, at the walls behind you and at the shimmering egg whites that they are. You frown and look at me but you don’t see anything, you only see things that you already know and that you wish weren’t. The flowers blowing outside and the yellow sky above, painted over us like the ceiling of an operating room. You smile slow and I feel uneasy, you shatter into a million pieces.

This is awesome, I love the intense wording you use and the way you placed the poem. I can feel the emotion pouring out, in each and every sentence. Beauitful job!
