Falling apart

Falling apart

A Poem by Infinitedreamer
"

These are similar but more like three separate poems.

"
My heart was broken,
and you molded it back together
in the palms of your hands.
It was perfectly shaped,
just right for you.

My heart had dissolved,
And you held what was left
in the palms of your hands.
But it just slipped through the cracks,
never to be found again.

My heart is melting,
and you hold what still remains
in the palms of your hands.
But it's burning you,
it's molten metal leaving scars.

This is so powerful and perfectly explains the appearance and disappearance of love in such a short couple of shifts. I am so happy you kept writing such beautiful poetry, keep it up and keep your head high! I love what you've got going!
