Life - A Haiku

A Poem by Infinitedreamer

This is just a quick haiku I came up with while sitting in class.

Life is poetic
with each breath you come closer
and closer to death

Not going to lie, I USUALLY hate haikus because it's always something about cherry blossoms whispering in the wind or some s**t... Also, I can never write them because I have no syllable control.

But I do adore this one. I love the meaning and the whole effortlessness of it. Edgar Allan Poe once said there is nothing more romantic than the death of a beautiful woman. There is something poetic in dying, isn't there, and you've brought it to light quite perfectly. Really am quite fond of this. 100/100
