The Last Support

The Last Support

A Poem by Corinna Bridgebury

The last support is pulled
I am left to wobble on my own
Sure to fall and break
In so many pieces
I can't put me back together.
But for the time being
For as long as I can
I will hold my balance
Independent, alone.
I would have it no other way.

it feels like breaking, but it's not...we are so f*****g fragile, you wouldn't think the creation would keep bothering with us; but, it seems, that we are the only creature hopping along evolution's trail, that learns by continuous heartbreak...ain't is something...Ed
