AppleA Poem by ComeBackThis poem is about the promise I made to my mom. That I would make her proud no matter what.An apple they call me, and it's starting to sting. Like they pulled me off the branch, off the twig. I can stand for my people, I will ‘til I am the only one left. I have good intentions No I won’t forget I will always remember that I said I would risk it all. Always be there to break your fall, When you fall to the firewater, I will pull you out, I will listen to and hear what this is about. You may put me on a pedestal, And be grateful for me, When it was the promise I made that allowed you to be, So stand tall, chin up, don’t shed a tear, Because I will always be here, I don’t want you to be sad I want you to be proud. For out of all the people in the world, You stood out in the crowd. © 2024 ComeBackReviews
