Let's give it a go

Let's give it a go

A Poem by Indulgia

Silence my questions,

Silence my doubts.

This is the sentence.

The verdict is out.

My memories stifle me.

I need to outgrow

The wounds that have tortured me,

made me withdraw.

The past doesn't feed me.

No, not anymore.

Deliciously painful,

I've gnawed to the core.

Self-pity and fear.

It's all getting old.

Let's give love a go,

let the story unfold.
