Bittersweet Love

Bittersweet Love

A Poem by Indigoshadows

A brush of a kiss,
Bittersweet.
With every advance
Lies the retreat.
A newfound hope
With breathless sighs.
In prowls unsure.
The bittersweet lies.
Stubborn heart-
Begging and starved,
It beats and it beats,
Though the hole's been carved.
