The Fall

The Fall

A Poem by Indigoshadows

Desire
To fall into me hard
Until you're soft again.
Tight muscles carry the burden
Of holding your breath.
Afraid to fall
In your captor's eyes.
Fall into me
With your heart alone.
Pour into me
Your secret fears.
So hard--
I know.
Release.
Sweet release--
To open like a book
Exposed to the air.
Deep sigh of relief,
Warmth flooding your veins,
With a dull, honeyed ache.
Satisfaction
To the soul.

There's there trust exercise. Where a person falls backwards and their friends catch them. I think when a person "falls" as you put it, into another person. It's about trust and a sense of honestly that 2 people can share with each other.
Well that's just my little interp when you look past the sensuality of the language. Awesome poem anyway you look into it.
