My abstract description on true beauty .

What I feel when I gaze into the sunset, is unlike any other feeling.
I feel that if I stare long enough, I will become apart of its forever flowing picture, stained with abstracts of yellow, pink and purple.
The longer I stare the more I feel it surround me, a blanket of the sun's rays perched over my shoulders .
No matter the weather, no matter the humidity or the numbing cold in the air, sunsets warm me from the inside out, as if they come from within my very soul.
I long for a soul that beautiful.
To be able to look at the world as a constant sunset, and to see the beauty within everything.
To look at the clouds littering the sky with grey and loneliness, crying out the rain, falling onto my skin, breathing it in with every pore, the elegance of each drop that washes away every sorrow instead of bringing it.
To see a face lined with scars from the cruelty that time can cast onto us, to touch its eyes sunken and colorless with dread and to detest not the face itself for what is considered ugly in this world, but to detest those who look at it with such beliefs.
The world and everything in it is apart of you. Ugly and beauty are merely words.
A sunset is merely a natural occurrence portraying beauty.
To live your live in a constant sunset is to live as if you were blind, and nothing and no one were different, they are all the same no matter whether we can see them with our eyes or not.
We are all sunsets, we are all beautiful.

Great poem, and a truly great concept of beauty ! Although maybe to move past thoughts of ugliness we also need to discard thoughts of beauty, as one cannot exist without the other. I love the line "The world and everything in it is apart of you", much needed in a time when so many create a distance between themselves and all that surrounds.
