The Little Blades (Of Grass)

The Little Blades (Of Grass)

A Poem by Silentspeaker

Imagine the world as you would.
The person who didn't meet your hopes
As usual, the error's screams tug at our ears, before the questions do.
But they don't pull away the ignorance so easily

Break myself, and discard the names.
All the little blades
Of grass
All the important, and selfishly absorbed blades
Breaking the connected roots
So, now, there are no patches
Only one adamant blade after another, and another

It's a lonely and sad life, being an adamant little blade

I thought this was a very compelling poem, well done. You're lucky you can write without rhymes and still make it sound good, I've never been able to do that. The only thing I noticed was "the error's screams" I got a little caught up and confused I'm pretty sure it was just a problem with punctuation, I believe if you want the screams to belong to the error you're supposed to write it like errors'. Don't quote me though I'm not an english teacher, just something to check. Very good poem though, Kudos.
