I Drop You, You Drop Me Too

I Drop You, You Drop Me Too

A Poem by Silentspeaker

How is it supposed to feel?
When you drop me on the ground
And never pick me up
I gave you the since unspoken key
The one you didn't even try to use
My most disgusting flaw for a shaky, forgiving lie
I've never felt a more painful betrayal
And I'm not even angry,
This is a bigger thing here
I'll never give anyone the key
To my house of insecurities
I'm not sure I'm even able to
But, I guess, and eye for an eye
I drop you, you drop me
The words spilled out
But it must have been gibberish
You don't want to leap the fire
That we spent over two years building
