Small Worlds

Small Worlds

A Poem by Silentspeaker
"

This one deals with selfishness and apathy, and how much of a hypocrite I can sometimes be

"
No response
Not a text or a phone call
I'm sure they're busy
Yes, every single person
I usually have friends two days a week, sometimes three
Blended minds, I've always wanted
But, never do I appreciate the minds ready
Vainly ignoring, shrewdly lowering my mind to a hypocrite nonsense
Maybe I call too much, speak too much
Maybe they don't too much
It's meaningless, this selfishness
We all have our own little world inside this big world we all see
And that's okay
When the blank screen shows itself again, and it will,
find solace in the ways to be happy,
the ways to keep sane
