Twin Bibles

Twin Bibles

A Poem by Silentspeaker

You set the bar for my short arms
You've given me nothing and I couldn't ask for more
Filling my shoes with holy dust
Oh, I love you so
So, I asked you

Apparently, theres a nail inside of me
I know at least one of my fathers disagrees
And, I'm not the only one
Not the only son
 Broken bodies in the pew
Staring up at you
Knowing full well
That you know I am too

We're your sick children
And you're scared
Because if we're not your twin bibles
We're going to choke
