Fell Like a stray

Fell Like a stray

A Poem by Philip Franklin
"

Well its more of a song than a poem but what the heck

"

Travelling home down a crooked road

Getting switched back on a railroad track

Felling my bones I’m wrinkled and grey

Feel like a stray in this world today

Didn’t seem so cold when I was young

I could have run a country mile

Got no one to share my soul

Feel like a stray in this world today

Every thing for profit nothing for gain

Want to die before you get old

No you just fade away

Seems to me things are way to fast

Maybe in the past we had some time

To smell the grass

Feel another’s pain

Feel like a stray in this world today

Young people laugh at the old and the grey

They forget that one day they will be the same

Live for the buzz?

Yes we did that feel like a stray in this world today

Everything for profit!

Nothing for gain

Want to die before you get old?

No you just fade away

Travelling home down a crooked road

Getting switched back on a railroad track

Feeling my bones I’m wrinkled and grey

Feel like a stray in this world today

Feel like stray in this world today

Well I'm slighly, no completely barking mad. I'm a grumpy Old Man desparately trying to release my creative juices, err sorry about that, after years of suppressing my nature to bring up my children a.. more..
