In The DarkA Poem by IncandescenceI smile with pearly whites, Something I can pull off well. All those stupid whispers don't bother me, but there is something inside that no one knows. Not that I should tell. Instead of love I breathe in oxygen that still keeps me alive and well. I occupy my time with random events. What I miss most is the beautiful, warm summers where I don't have to smile for anyone. Where it's mostly light and the dark is rarely ever there. Where I can wear whatever I want and do whatever I feel like doing. And still I'm Putting up with all the noise and faces that come up. People I don't want to care about. Where I have to hold my head up high. The place where I'm not breaking. © 2011 IncandescenceAuthor's Note
