Stars

Stars

A Poem by Ina

As a child I used to watch the sky at night
so often shining brightly,
bathed widely with the white stars' light
a lovely picture bult beautiful slightly,
figures, every now and then
on the dark canvas I could draw,
I never needed a pencil nor pen
to draw a pretty bird like a daw,
but now I see the darker skies
and many stars have passed away,
even the moon seems it dies
and they all glow vaguely today,
what happened to the dark bright sky?
to the stars which glowed intensely during night?
I don't want any of them to die
and I don't want to miss their light.

beautiful stars
from us they shun
beautiful stars
what have we done?
