When Love Hurts

Are words I have seen or heard, do not know how or where they have come from. Its that time of the year, where love becomes

 overwhelming. Where your living and in the mist of it all, your eyes fill with tears. 

Memories flood your thoughts. Your mind rushes through them like a wave. Sending tingles throughout your body. 

Your heart and soul debates whether or not it wants to flow. With or to fight the current. 

The tear falls, You want to smile. You want to laugh. You open your arms as if you are about to hug someone. When you suddenly realize there is no one there to hug. 

That feeling. That fulfillment. Starts to ache. Naturally your right hand, places itself on your chest. Where your heart beats beneath it. You stop the memories. Flushed. With embarrassment. Your head tilts back. 

You realize you are not living, but alive.
