What if

What if everytime you blinked,

You missed something important?

Would you open your eyes forever,

Just to see everything?

 

What if everytime you slept,

You hurt the one you love?

Would you keep yourself awake,

So they wouldn't feel any pain?

 

What if every move you made,

You killed someone you knew?

Would become a statue,

So as not to lose those friends?

 

What if all of these things happened,

But you didn't even know?

Is ignorance an excuse,

For not doing anything about it?
