When The world Turned AwayA Poem by PandaaIn a mall one summer day, When the world turned away. Two men sit thinking, Laughing and drinking. Between their legs sits, A suitcase with brass clips. With the timer clicking, The bomb sits ticking. Chiming out a last bell, Before it releases hell. The hot shrapnel rips, Screams fly from lips. Some people lay dying, Some children sit crying. What happened to the two, Who had better things to do. Doing what a coward does best, Blown away with the rest. They died at that place, Instead of justice to face. The crime scene is gone, The rest must carry on. But they never forget the day, When the world turned away. © 2010 Pandaa |
