Moonlight Streetlight

Moonlight Streetlight

A Poem by Pandaa

Silver moon on sky of black,
Always taking and giving back.
Hanging there for all to see,
Knowing what will someday be.
You give off light that's not your own.
For all life must be shown,
The grace and beauty in dark of night,
And from the dark know what is right.
So sit up there on a starry chair,
And remind us all to play fair.
The light you give shows us a street,
With neighbors friendly and yards kept neat.
It is the street of life and love,
Made for us by a snow white dove.
