Kneeling In The Shadow Of Your Cross

Kneeling In The Shadow Of Your Cross

A Poem by Pandaa

Kneeling in the shadow of you cross,

Your blood was shed for me.

Now I stand in a world filled with loss,

And ask that what you said would be.

Nothing less than the high ground,

I need while stranded in these

Troubled waters, with no one around,

I am still here kneeling and asking please.

Now I stand alone in a sea of fear,

Wondering if everything I did was for not.

I never wanted to end up here,

Now when the sun shines I cast a new lot.

I ask for salvation, you give me grace,

I ask for patience, you make me wait.

I ask for forgiveness, you show me your face.

I ask for strength, you still my hate.
