Glorious

Glorious

A Poem by Scott Christian
"

It's about sex.

"

   I braced myself as
she clasped me tight--
        her soft appendages
     embedded themselves into my skeleton
  As she dug into me
            I dug into her--
          burrowing deeper, closer,
    we approached the periphery
                of the molten core

           Thus we were consumed

     Thus we were immolated

                  And--as with all things--
             we turned to glorious ash
