I am the Ghost Writer

I write everything.

I write the poems, the stories.

The songs, and the legends.

I was always the one,

The shadow in a writer’s mind.

I've seen generations.

I've seen evolution through many eyes.

The good, the bad.

The bloodshed and the peace.

I've written about all of it.

I was the ghost in the background.

I turned off the lights,

In a writer's mind.

For there is a certain darkness,

Needed to see the stars.

I am the inspiration,

They strive to put at peace,

On lovely blank paper.

I was always there.

I am the beautiful shadow;

The beautiful ghost;

Ever present.

I am the Ghost Writer.
