The Journey

My life i guess..

 

Along the express train track

Watching people and places come and go

On my mind’s journey through life

Sunrise on my day and sunset on my night

Light up my life for the moment

Smile through the sunshine and wait

For it all to go dark

A tunnel at the end of the light

Close my eyes and hope for the best

Hold your hand and hold my breath

Lost in time and unsure of direction

Be my compass and my guide

Sweet whispers that it will be alright

Breath in, breath out, sweet release

My inhibitions fade into nothing

Then the light comes through my window again

And the darkness hides behind these eyes

Beneath the me they’ve come to know

The one who smiles for all to see

To protect the secret from the angels

And through these eyes, there lies the truth

Lies, fears, scars, tears

Far from perfection, close to corruption

Demons waiting within my soul

Waiting for the darkness to block the light

To turn me into beast of night.

At the moment it's kinda a big blob of writing, i wasn't quite sure how to section it so any comments would be helpful

I dont kno if you meant it this way but i read it very much in the state of being born to death. Almost as if from the darkness they are born but return to the darkness they came from as if it is a trap they cannot out run.
There are bits here and there that dont quite make sesnse but they flow nicley in a sort of tangled pattern
its a well worded piece if not a bit confusing andi would love to hear what you where thinking about when you wrote that and what you meant by it.
