Colliding Skies

Colliding Skies

A Poem by Clover

I'm lost...
Lost in a web of falsehood
and fabrication.

I thought I knew
what I was getting into...
but all I got was pain.

I suppose I got what I deserved
got what I needed...
but now I'm defeated.
Utterly, truly, lost.

I can't hear your words,
and even if I could,
I wouldn't care...
and I wouldn't dare
speak out of line.

Beneath colliding skies,
my eyes are blind to everything.
And all I can do is sing.
But even now my tongue is muted
because I know your love is suited
for someone else.

Even if you see
that I am dead,
I don't expect you to know
that it was for you I bled.

I love this poem especially these lines:

Beneath colliding skies,
my eyes are blind to everything.
And all I can do is sing.
But even now my tongue is muted
because I know your love is suited
for someone else.

such a wonderful poem!
