what does it mean?A Story by Joseph TafoyaWell I was putting a lot of thought into it
What does happiness mean? Easy answer right? You could get this right and the reader after you might get this right and the next one, then the next. But what if a reader comes along and doesn't know the answer? Why does he or she does not know? Because maybe the reader hasn't experienced happiness in a while. Maybe the person forgot what it feels like to be happy. I'm pretty sure most of us been there. you see, I'm only sixteen and I'll say it again sixteen but I been at my breaking points before and I have seen other's as well at their breaking points. Most of us just try to pretend we're happy, smiling and pretending we are having a good time. We are actors we hide our real face underneath a mask is what it looks like. But really we are lost in a world of sadness.
Now I have a new question which I'm pretty sure we all can answer. What is sadness? We all have been sad many of times before so we all know the right answer. You might be thinking " why the hell is this kid telling me this s**t?" Well I'll tell you why, I'm telling you this because it's the truth. Think of how many people you seen today smile at you and say to your self " was that a real smile or is that a mask that person is wearing?" I'll tell you how I see sadness, sadness is a drug. A drug that people can't get away from depending on how much a person takes. Sadness has many forms and does many things such as suicidal thoughts and self harm and crying and antisocially. I can go on but I'm sure I got the idea down. Sadness can be taken in many ways and can be taken multiple times there's no overdosing. IIT can start off as words such as your ugly, your stupid, no one wants you here to kill you self, you don't belong this planet , go die. You see I'm sure that's why kids are hurting them self's and other's. I don't to ruin life for you but just take a good look around, there is a dark force around everyone everyday. It's kind of hard to refuse to accept the truth. When I noticed the dark force I told my self that this world is more fucked up then I thought, it's even worse. You see not everyone is happy and when I see a smile I don't know if it's a real smile or a mask. Sadness is taking different forms, sadness can be a simple word such as "I'm OK"or "I'm fine" don't let these words deceive you. Well that's all for tonight my mind is empty and I don't have nothing else to say but I'll tell you this, smiles don't always mean happiness, it can also mean sadness and teens are good at hiding how they feel so teens tend to wear happy masks. but then again do you tend to wear a happy mask? If you do I promise in the end s**t gets better, but that's another story in life. © 2015 Joseph TafoyaFeatured Review
