Midnight's scars

A poem about self harming

A silver star shoots across the night,
Leaving her crimson trail
singed into the fleshy white.
Moonbeam slants tint scarlet,
As the droplets start to pour.
This metallic lantern bears no wish
Only the pain no one ever saw.
