Just wanted to let out my feelings after some things that happened today, I didn't think about the words, just typed what I felt really so I know it's not the best but it's raw

Before you speak those words
Do you not think
That that person may
already be on the brink
Of breaking down

Before you look down on them
In the hallway
Because they're 'unpopular'
Does your mind not say
That's wrong

Before you laugh at them
As you stride pass
Don't you ever even think
Maybe that echos their mind
after class

Have you never even thought
That that passing comment you make
Can be the thing to break
A person
Make them give up on their dreams
And to you it probably seems
Like nothing
But to them those words
Are everything they've ever heard

Every school has its popular people, and some for god knows why, feel the need to use this so called "popularity" to tear others down and make them feel inferior. Nice write
