The pain of it is good pain that I can tolerate no matter how far apart we are.

The days your cell’s off makes it harder just hearing the away message puts me to tears.

Cause I’ve finally found my true love: you.

You’re the only one to put me to tears when we talk even when you go on about s**t I’m not even following.

I don’t even know what you look like but I have a pretty good idea, but the only thing I focus on is your smile.

Your laugh makes me cry happy tears.

Your voice calms me when I’m upset from a fight with my mom.

I always calm you down when your in tears.

I’ve been there for you when your parents had that nasty divorce.

When your dog died.

When your dad got shipped early to Iraq.

And I am so so f*****g sorry for leaving you those six months cause now I realize how important you are to me.

States apart I wanna hold you.

Miles apart I wanna cuddle you.

Days apart I wanna kiss you.

Weeks apart I wanna touch you.

Months apart I wanna hug you.

Years apart I wanna just be there.

Even now as the tears roll I smile cause I love you with all my heart.

Everytime I cry you say "baby please don’t cry" then I say "why?" you say "cause I’ll cry" but I can’t stop it.

You tease me all the time everytime and I love it.

Remember I told you over the phone that I was talking to the mother of my children? You probably don’t since you were talking about something funny.

But I do and I mean it.

So to end this poem I’ll use a bit of our talk that we had over our friend Kelly.
