Just You

Just You

A Poem by Paradoxical

My heart is heavy
My sight grows dim
The world is blurring
While I think of him

I used to love him
But now I won't
I can't be near him
It's hard, I don't

I can't imagine
How life would be
Without him here
Right next to me

He annoys me so
I just can't stand him
But I know he's there
When I hang by a limb

My life would be gone
If he hadn't stayed
He kept me still
When I was afraid

He was my best friend
Of that I know
I only wish
I'd told him so

I gain such courage
When he's around
But I can't be with him
I'm not on the ground

I miss us, you know
Just you, and me
I remember when
We used to be...

About
I write because it is my dream to be a writer and I enjoy it. I can pour my heart into a poem or a story and make it as artistic as I want. It's a beautiful thing to have the words to express myself w.. more..
