Everyday People

Everyday People

A Poem by Paradoxical

Jobs and workers
Schools and students
Houses and parents
Cars and avenues
Everyday people
Get up in the morning
To live that day
For the present
Everyday people
Stand up
In court, In school, at work, at home
To fight for their work
Paycheck to paycheck
Living low, but finding hope
In everyday people
Who try their best
Even if it's not much
They throw in the dice
And bet for life
Sometimes you win
And sometimes you lose
But everyday people
Never give up

About
I write because it is my dream to be a writer and I enjoy it. I can pour my heart into a poem or a story and make it as artistic as I want. It's a beautiful thing to have the words to express myself w.. more..
