Dagger

Dagger

A Poem by Paradoxical

On his knees
He prays for life
In his heart
Is buried a knife

It rips through flesh
Sharp pointed dagger
Any who herald it
Come to stagger

A curse is befallen
To the keeper
To the bearer
To the weeper

A curse on the blade
To kill is forbade
For it's a mind its own
And to all it is known

Author's Note

Paradoxical
I was just bored... if it doesn't make sense, here's the explanation:
The dagger is cursed so that if you kill anyone with it, it kills you.
"To harm another is to harm yourself..."
