Only Surviving

Only Surviving

A Poem by Micheala Dover
"

After years of being alive, I wonder if I'm only surviving.

"
Twenty-four hours have passed
Since I turned fifteen.
I'm still young,
But I can't help but wonder...

If I died tomorrow
Only my family would remember me.
I can't help but feel
As if I've only survived, not lived.

this poem is really good. i like how you state your feelings of what you feel and that you think that you are only surviving the terrors of the world instead of living your life. i think that might be becuase we are still young and that we have not spread our wings to see the world on our terms where we will be living.the poem is short and straight to the point. the thing i liked about the poem is that you state that you feel that instead of living you are only surviving what comes at you in your own life.
