The FlowersA Poem by Micheala DoverA blind teenager sees for the first time.
Today,
I saw The flowers For the first Time. People Told me They were Beautiful. They lied. The real Beauties Were the People I saw They came In different Colours. Different shapes. Different sizes. I think The eyes Were the Most beautiful. So many colours. Blue Green Brown Teal Or mixtures. The eyes, They were Windows To our souls. Never exactly alike. © 2014 Micheala Dover |
