Lali noticed how Kuro suddenly looked tense on the plane, his nails digging into the seat.

“Kuro?” Lali asked, touching his hand only for him to pull away.

“What?!” Kuro said curtly. Lali looked at him with those large honey gold eyes that just radiated loveliness. He calmed his edgy behavior and replied “Sorry.”

“No it’s okay.” Lali said. “Just wanted to know if something was wrong.”

“Nothings wrong don’t worry.” Kuro said. Lali could hear the lie in his voice but he turned away and began reading one of the books they were able to take from that secret room. The lettering's were ancient but Lali was trained to read these ancient writings. Kuro searched the skies, soon spotting a reaper outside. He saw Bubbles rub her hands together till her hands glowed, lightening dancing around her hands. She blasted the plane, causing it to shut down. The plane was suddenly filled with screams of terror, Lali clinging to her seat desperately.

“Kuro!” Lali screamed only finding him gone. As they plummeted, Lali saw flashes of a forgotten memory. She saw someone attacking her; the wounds that would normally kill someone instantly heal. She returned to the screaming, soon screaming with them.

Outside, Bubbles watched with joy as the plane began to plummet to the ground. She was suddenly tackled to the side by Kuro, being knocked away by her iron mallet. While she was disoriented, Kuro quickly flew towards the flying plane and stopped it, his inhuman strength holding it up and slowly landing. He was suddenly struck by lightening, causing him to ricochet from the plane and be punched in the stomach by Bubbles. The plane once again plummeted, Kuro blocking Bubbles’s attacks.

“Give it back!” Bubbles screamed in rage.

“Have no idea what you’re talking about!” Kuro said, kicking her in the stomach and going in to hit her with his mallet. He hit her in the side, making his fly into the darkened clouds. Before going in after her, he looked back at the falling plane, thinking God Lali, you’d better save yourself.

Lali was clinging to the seat cushion in front of her, her nails digging into it. Th man next to him was screaming his head off, Lali feeling her eyes water.

I don’t wanna die… Lali suddenly thought. Help me…

As she felt her stomach feel as though it was rising, she felt herself being sucked down into the deepest part of her mind, as if she was being dragged down. She suddenly landed the floor around her water but she was capable of standing on it. She tugged at her shirt, feeling as though her heart would burst from the shock.

“Oh Lali, it’s been years…” a voice said, somewhere inside the darkness. Lali urgently looked around, soon finding a woman standing before her. The woman was tall, having an hourglass body with long slender legs, long unruly blue hair with long elf like ears, a type of scaly dress on her body with a opening to show off her legs, the dress connecting into a tail fin in the back. As she walked, the water would freeze where her fairy like feet brushed against it.

“Wh-who are you?” Lali asked, she was petrified feeling as if her very soul froze. The woman leaned into her, her hand reaching out to Lali and her long black nails gently holding her head up so she could get a better look.

“You have my eyes, along with my hair…” the woman suddenly said, combing her hair through her long blond hair. Lali then gripped at her hair, realizing her hat was gone and her long hair revealed to the whole world.

“Don’t be ashamed honey.” The woman said. “I love this look so much better.”

The woman was now on her knees, looming over Lali who was trying to crawl away. As she tried turning away, the woman grabbed a firm hold of her waist, making Lali’s face glow a bright red as she was pulled down and forced on her back, the water splashing under her.

            “Who are you?!” Lali repeated.

The woman only smiled, revealing her shark like teeth and appeared to be cackling. Her hand found Lali’s shirt, tugging at it slightly.

“Who am I?...Well…I’m the one who gave birth to you silly.” The woman replied. “And the one who gave you this!”

She lifted up Lali’s shirt, revealing her stomach with the black sealing on it. The sealing looked like a clock with complicated designs on it, ancient writing as the circle. The hand on the clock suddenly clicked suddenly, making Lali feel a suddenly pain. Her eyes blackened and she cried blackened tears. Her joints relaxed and she reached up for her mother, brushing her fingers along her blue face. Her mother took her hand and held it close to her face.

"I’ve always wanted to feel my daughters hand… Sadly this is only temporary.” Her mother said. “Lali…My beautiful little Butterfly, its time…”

The clock like sealing ticked again, making Lali’s eye’s widen and the black tears roll down her face till little streams were left on her face. She was suddenly sucked from her blackened world, looking at the book that was now on her lap. She lifted her hands up, the book levitating with her and glowing, the pages flipping endlessly.

“Sea, sea, demon, demon, sea, sea, demon, demon.” She continued chanted this, the book glowing brightly. Her eyes were black, suddenly a large pulse went through the plane, causing the plane to suddenly stop and safely land. It landed on the ground, the exit doors popping open and long orange slides appearing from the doorways. Lali suddenly snapped out of her trance, looking around as if she had no idea where she was. She grabbed her book and made her way to the exit like all the other panicked guests. They slid down the slide and made their way to the safety of the airport.

Kuro was colliding weapons with Bubbles, kicking her away and raising his mallet into the air.

“Thunder!” Kuro commanded, the booming sound echoing all around and charging his weapon. His eyes glowed as she charged at Bubbles, hitting her in the stomach and causing her to fly off into the clouds. He didn’t bother going after her this time; he needed to check on Lali. He quickly flew down, unnoticed by the panicked passengers and followed the crowd. He came inside, suddenly being interviewed by reporters.

“Sir, sir, can you tell us the feeling of plummeting from that height?” one woman asked.

“How do you think you survived?” a man asked, shoving a microphone in his face.

“Do you have anything to say sir?” another woman asked.

            “Sir!”

            “Sir!”

            “SIR!”

It was an endless sea of reporters trying to squeeze information from Kuro, he found himself blinded by the flashing of photographers and only seeing a sea of black microphones, his pupils becoming slits like a cat.

“I was terrified I’m looking for my little sister right now so excuse me.” Kuro said, pushing past the crowd and hearing the reporters asking questions at his back. They then moved onto a frightened old woman and Kuro commenced his search for Lali. He walked by the passengers, soon spotting Lali on a bench. She was looking at the floor and looking pale. He raced to her, sitting next to her and taking her hand- something that was rare for him.

“Lali, oi Lali can you hear me?” Kuro asked, lightly shaking her. Lali turned her head to him, her eyes looking terrified. She suddenly passed out on his shoulder, not moving. Kuro sighed irritably and hoisted Lali on his back, hoping that their luggage was saved. He arrived to the baggage claim, getting their suitcases and somehow managing to roll them along.

“Hey!” a voice called behind him. Kuro turned, finding Lali’s older sister Nicky. She had grown, along with her hair which had grown long enough to reach her back which was tied in a sloppy pony tail, wearing a short sleeved white shirt and baggy brown pants, a hat on her head filled with pins. Beside her was a tall boy with white short hair, a little splotch of black on top of his head, wearing a baggy long sleeved white shirt and jeans, sandals on his feet having Lali’s eyes.

“Hey Nicky.” Kuro said, till he was suddenly punched in the stomach by the girl.

“What did you do to my sister?” Nicky asked, getting straight to the point.

Her boyfriend, Sam, putting a hand on her shoulder calming her a bit. She looked up at him, seeing his large eyes full of love. She released a sigh and mumbled “You have a way with words Sam.”

Sam assisted Kuro with the unconscious Lali, taking her and carrying her bridal style in his arms.

“You explain everything in the car!” Nicky said strictly and led the way out, pulling Lali’s bag along.
