Art of the GameA Poem by Alexander Augustus EgglestonOvercoming Adversity; Power of positivity
EVERYONE IS IN STRIDE AS MOMENTUM HAS SHIFTED SIDES, BEADS OF SWEAT STREAM FROM MY FACE, NOT SURE YET, IF IT`S ALL A WASTE. AS THE AUDIENCE EAGERLY ANTICIPATES, SEAMLESSLY SO DOES THE TEAM FACILITATE. 4TH QUARTER NOW FAST APPROACHING, NOT SO SURE NOW ABOUT THE COACHING. MORALE ONCE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH, FADING FAST LIKE A MIDNIGHT SKY. FATIGUE STARTING TO SET IN NOW, AS THE BODIES ON THE FIELD TAKE THEIR FINAL BOW. FANS IN THE STANDS AS WELL AS THE BANDS, PLAYERS ON FIELD WILL SOON BE SHAKING HANDS. LEGS FEEL LIKE JELLY, BUTTERFLIES NOW IN BELLY. FINAL SECONDS TICKING AWAY, LAST SHOT UNDERWAY, MINDSET PLEASE DON`T BE LED ASTRAY. FINAL HORN SOUNDS, LOOKS LIKE WE ARE PLAYOFF BOUND, WHAT A WAY, TO LEAVE THIS TOWN
