A Beautiful Lie

A Beautiful Lie

A Poem by Justin White
"

The inspiration for this was seeing one of our purple Magnolias bloom during winter.

"
To my Frozen Prince
Whose life shot forth
And brought redemption upon the cold.

And as you bend, Wind Swept
The snow will fall heavy
Aging you and breaking bones.

But, Oh Royalty
We shall not forget
The hue you set before our eyes.

Oh, Magnolia Flower
You are to me
A just and a beautiful lie.
