Hidden Within

Hidden Within

A Poem by Once upon a time
"

I draw and write short "poetry" to accompany. Unfortunately without a scanner you cannot see the drawings, but the poetry is here.

"
There once were wings;
Now replaced
By mechanical things.

All the secrets of life,
Locked away with time.

Who holds the key
To release my dreams?

Reflections.
Revelations.
Realizations.

Author's Note

Once upon a time
I guess it's relates to the beauty of the natural form. People are beautiful and innocent and eventually all the beauty is replaced by electronics and entertainment. When we lose our natural state, we lose the answers to ourselves and to life.

Loved this, especially the first stanza. c:

I like this poem. You asked some good questions and left a strong ending to create more questions. Very hard to write short poetry with reason. You did a outstanding job with this poem.

Like the brevity in this-- words to ponder over.

This is genuine. Most people cannot say so much with so few words. Beautiful work.
