Motherhood

Motherhood

A Poem by Once upon a time
"

The pain of never being able to bear children.

"
You will be a mother,
My God told me.
You will be a wonderful mother,
My heart told me.
You will be loved,
My soul told me.

-----------------------

You will never be a mother,
My Doctor told me.
You are broken,
My pain told me.
You will never be loved,
My defeat told me.

Author's Note

Once upon a time
I have never written poetry before, so I'm not sure if this would be considered a poem. Just some thoughts that seemed to have a rhythm.
