You Aren't Pushing People Away, People Are Just Leaving You

You Aren't Pushing People Away, People Are Just Leaving You

A Poem by trippy kitty

I know you.
I know your type of teenager.
I know that you cut yourself.
I know that you swallow the pills.
I know that you're alone.
I know that you're sad.
I know that you desperately wanna be thin.
I know that you stick a finger down your throat.
I know that you have a million knives being stuck in your back.
I know that you cry.
I know that you take pills that make you feel better.
I know that you aren't feeling any better.
I know all of this because I was like you once.
I was depressed and broken.
I was angry and sensitive.
And I just want to let you know,
that you won't be pathetic forever.

Got a friend who went through exactly the same and with our support she came out the other side, happy healthy and well, and I'm sure that it will be the same for your friend, beautifully painful write about your concern for your friend.

Hard to be young. Lost in the rules of a world that shouldn't matter to us anyway. Real beauty is what we do and accomplish. I like the advice given at the end. Thank you for the excellent poem.
