A Million Miles Away

I'll put the noose around my neck,

let the fire burn my skin,

let the razor blade slide across my body,

but only because I need to feel something.

I'll take a couple of sips of whiskey, 

drown myself in the bath tub,

scream at my reflection,

but only because I'm a million miles away from

sanity.

So...I am not the only one feeling insane? I'm not the only one wishing for death (figuratively) becasue sanity is lingering in the distance (litterally)?

Oh wow, this was very deep. Emotions struggling inside.. oh it's one of those hardest things to deal with and overcome especially in that moment. Very honest, right to the point, and simply great writing. I can relate to this poem..
