Extended metaphor

Extended metaphor

A Poem by Bryony Kate
"

Did this almost 2 years ago but thought I'd post it anyway, xxx

"
In a canvas of trees, a majestic monster roars,
Looming on his hind legs, reaching 90 metres tall,
The waterfall is a wolf;
Ragged, rough and deadly.
Lapping at the rocks,
Lashing out readily.

Small animals scuttle and hurry away,
The largers monsters are held at bay.
With the crashing and screaming and plently of noise,
Strongs he stood with a perfect poise.

Now silence falls as the beauty sleeps,
Giant tears, he silently weeps,
All alone, others serms too afraid,
To cross the deadly beauty that nature made.

I like this poem. You've displayed how a monster can influence anything that comes within it's vacinity. It's presence is so powerful that everyone and everything has to respect that. Great write. :)
