A Sudden Change 4

Joey is a 15 year old boy in 9th grade, who is in love with his best friend Sam. It sucks when the one you love doesnt return your feelings. But a new boy has started his way into Joey's heart.

A Sudden Change

 

We made it back to my house without any probemls from Sam. I put down Nick at the drive way and walked with him to the door.

"Is it okay if you spend the night?" I asked him, unlocking the door.

"I-if its alright with y-you..." Nick smiled.

"Fine if he spends the night then so do I!!" Sam yelled.

"I thought you where already spending the night from the begining" I mumbled.

"Oh..."

"I get to sleep with Joey~" Jessica sang.

"No. Nick gets my bed" I sighed.

"W-wait! I dont w-want it to be a p-problem!!" Nick suttered.

"Its not a problem, promis." I smiled at him.

"Jessica, you get the spare room, Sam you can-"

"I wanna sleep in the other spare room with you!!" Sam burst out at me.

"Huh? Okay..." I sort of answered in a question tone.

Jessica sighed and went up stairs in her room, while Sam walked to the other spare room down the hall. I looked at Nick who was still next to me.

"Whats wrong?" I asked him.

"I-I dont want to be a-alone..." He whispered.

"Would you rather sleep with Sam?"

"No!!" He shouted terrified.

"Alright uhm... Where do you want to sleep?" I asked a little shocked.

"W-with you..." Nick blushed.

"You can sleep in the spare room with Sam and I?"

"B-but hes scary..."

I sighed then grabbed his hand. I walked up stairs with him into my room. I closed the door than sat him on the bed.

"Alright, I'll sleep on the floor, kay?" I smiled.

I walked out the room to aleart Sam that I was staying with Nick... Jeez I really didnt want to hear Sam whine...

"Uhh... Sam?" I asked opening his room door.

"Yeah?" Sam answered with only boxers on, getting into the queen sized bed.

"Well uhm, im going to be sleeping with Nick..." I blushed looking at his body.

"What?! Dude come one!! That guy is just a freakin puss!! You can leave him for the night!!" Sam shouted at me.

"Yeah I could but im not!" I yelled back.

"Hes taking you away from me!!"

"You say that when you still carry that s**t around your arm!!" I yelled cupping my mouth.

"Huh... Your jealous of her?" Sam asked amused.

"N-No!!" I shouted embarrassed.

"You mean if I break up with her, I could have you??" Sam asked getting closer.

Sam pulled me closer by putting his hands around my waist. His bare chest was soo breath taking. I blushed at the touch when he started to lean up to kiss me. I glared at him, but I did really want his. I grabed his arms and started to close my eyes, waiting for the impact.

"J-Joey?" A familiar voice came.

I turned around as fast as I could to see Nick standing at the door, tugging on the bottom of his shirt.

"A-ah... Sorry, I'll be up in a minute..." I stuttered, growing hard per second.

Nick ran up to me and pulled me away from Sam with a hug.

"W-whats wrong?" I asked a little worried.

Tears began to stream down one of Nick's cheeks. I bent down a little to look him in the eye. He had them as tight as they could be. I felt a sharp pain in my chest, but I really didnt know what to do.

"Come, on, I'll take you to bed.

"Joey!" Sam yelled.

"Sam, not now..."

I walked out the room, leaving a very pissed off Sam. I had my arm around Nick's shoulders, fealing his shudders. We walked upstairs with him walkign very slow, he was looking down the whole time. We finally got to my room. I sat him on the bed and bent down to one knee looking up at him.

"Whats wrong?"

Nick only shook his head.

"I can only help if you told me ya know..."

"You and S-Sam where..."

"Eh? Thats it? Why would that make you upset?"

"I-I dont know..."

I smiled at Nick with sincere eyes. I got up and hugged him. He twitched then immediately hugged back tight. He pulled me into the bed, with me falling on top of him. I looked down at him and kissed him on the forehead. I positioned myself on the bed long ways on the pillow while cuddling Nick in my arms.

"Are you jelous of Sam?" I asked Nick sleepy.

"Jelous?" Nick repeated, unsure of himself.

"Hmm... Nevermind..." I mumbled closing my eyes.

Its weird, I dont know if it was a dream or not, but I felt a slight touvh on my lips. Something very soft....

The next morning I felt a draft. I looked up at my window, which probably was opened by the strong wind. I glared out the window studying the weather. It looks like another tornado is coming... I shut the window, ready for the big wind. My mother was at my grandmas for the weekend visiting.

I got up, trying not to wake Nick. I made my way to Jessica's room. I knocked on the door and heard a mumble.

"Hey Jess, there might be a tornado today so get up, im going to check the news" i said peeking my head in the door.

"A Tornado?!" Jessica shouthed shooting up.

"Yeah, come downstairs" I said in a low voice.

"A-alright!" Jessica shouted jumping out of bed with a pink tank top on and long white pajama pants.

I walked down the stairs and turrned on the T.V. Turrning to channel 3.

"Here watch this and call me when the weather comes on" I told Jessica.

She nodded in responce.

I went to Sam's room, which was abotu 5 feet from where the living room.

"He dude wake up..."

Sam didnt respond.

"Come on wake up..." I walked over to him and lifted up the covers, to be roughly pulled in by Sam.

"Sam we cant do this right now, a tornado is probably coming!" I shouted into his bare chest.

"Really? Didnt we have one like 4 months ago?" He questioned letting me up for air.

"Yeah but theres another one, and by how strong the wind is its going to be a big one"

"Alright..." Sam sighed.

"Joeyyyy~" Jessica shouted.

Sam and I walked out into the living room to see Jessica signaling us to come over to her. We both sat on the couch and watched the news.

'Weather reports are giving out a tornado warning. We would like all of citizens to be indoors today, and to be safe.'

"Crap..." I mumbled biting my thumb.

"Nooo~ I dont want a tornado!!! They are scary!!" Jessica whined.

"Well lets get some blankets and some food down in your basement" Sam sighed.

"Alright, Jessica can you get some blankets in the closet upstairs, and Sam the food? I'll wake Nick"

"Cant we just leave him out here?" Sam glared.

"Sam" I warned.

He rolled his eyes and made his way to the kitchen, while I followed Jessica upstairs. She ran down the hall when I turned to my room door.

Ugh I didnt want to wake Nick, he looked waaay too cute... Plus when I do wake him and tell him there is a tornado coming he will freak out...

"Nick... Hey Nick, wake up..." I said with a low voice shaking him a bit.

"Nng..." Nick moaned, which almost gave me a hard on.

"Niiick~" I said in his ear.

He quickly shot his eyes open then sat up, holding his ear.

"W-what?" He blushed.

"We need to go in the basement, theres a tornado coming..." I said softly.

"W-what?!" He shouted bouncing up and wraping his arms around me.

"Its alright... We are gonna be okay" I smiled.

"Mmmb..." He mumbled.

I picked him up from under his arms and made him stand up. I smiled before turrning around and walking out, with Nick following behind.

"Got them!!" Jessica shouted running by me and down stairs.

"Good, lets just get down into the basement!" I shouted back at her.

"Joey..." Nick shivered clinging to my back.

"Its okay... Sam you ready?" I asked walking to the basement door.

"Yeah, its all good on my part~" He smiled passing me while kissing me on the cheek on the way down into the basement. I glared back with a blush.

"L-lets just go..." I said to Nick.

He went into the door before me, and walked down the stairs. I was the last to go in, locking the door behind me and following the others down stairs.

The basement was pretty cool. It was deep underground, with a bathroom, a small room that was about 2 yards wide and 6 feet long. Which only held a little 3 foot wide bed and 6 feet long. bed with a night stand. The basment had a big couch, with a big T.V. I brought my game consols just for that reason. It also held a little mini fridge, and a built in cabnet into the wall, which we used to store the blankets Jessica had brought.

"Jeez I love your house dude" Sam smiled laying on the bed.

"Thats good" I said laying on the bed beside Sam.

"Heh, you wanna cuddle or something?" Sam smirked.

"Well we are kinda in a bed... I want to do something else..." I smiled.

"Oh~ Is that so?" Sam purred reaching over to me.

"Yeah sleep." I sighed putting my hand on his forehead to stop him.

"Thats kinda mean..." Sam pouted.

I laughed then got up to sit on the couch next to Nick.

"Joey... Uhm... do you l-like Sam?" Nick suddenly asked me.

"Huh? Well... I guess..." I admited.

"Oh..." Nick sighed.

"But I do like another person..." I smilede putting my head on his.

I saw him blush then look at me.

"M-me?" He asked stunned.

I nodded at him and smiled.

"Uhhh... Its weird how I started to like you so fast... But I do soo..."

"Uhm... I... Uhh..." Nick struggled.

"Its okay, you dont have to give me a responce right now..." I got up and went to Jessica, who was putting the blankets on the gound.

"The carpet down here is bairly used, so its really soft~" Jessica smiled.

"Yeah haha..." I responded getting under the blankets and leaning on the wall next to her.

"Hmm..." I glared at nothing.

"It sucks to be in a room where you like 2 guys..." I mumbled.

"Hehe <3 well thats fine!" Jessica giggled.

She leaned on my shoulder and tried to fall asleep. That failed when I remembered someting important.

"Ah s**t!! I forgot the freakin cat!!" I shouted rushing up and up the stairs.

"W-wait Joey!! The tornado!!" Nick shouted at me.

"I dont care!" I yelled back.

I got upstairs, shuting the door behind me. Dang... How could I forget that cat?!

I rushed outside and saw her clinging to a tree. She could sence the danger approaching.

"Hey! Come here Abby!!" I yelled up at her, trying not top be pushed by the wind.

She saw me then quickly jumped into my hands. I was happy when I had her, but then I saw a big tornado a few miles west. I curssed under my breath then ran back inside. I went under the sink to get cat food and got her litter box. I ran back with all that in hand. I put some down to open the door. I stumbled a few times, then felt the house shake. Thats when I finally got the door open. I quickly shut it behind me. I sank to the floor. I was hugged by all 3 of the guys.

"Dont Do That Again!!! You Almost Got Yourself Killed!!" Sam yelled at me.

"I almost lost my Joey!!~" Jessica whined.

And from Nick, I just saw some tears.

I hugged them all back with a smile.

"Sorry~" I giggled.

"Idiot!" Sam yelled before pressing his lips agienst mine.

"Mph!" I mumbled.

"I love you dude!!" Sam shouted blushing like mad.

I was as red as an apple. Shocked aswell. I didnt think he would have the courage to actually kiss me! I looked to the side embarrasseed.

"J-Joey?" Nick said.

I quickly looked at him. I forgot he was there... Dang... Right after I confess, im kissed right infront of him... Crap this isnt good.....
