A world stained by hate

A world stained by hate

A Poem by Rob Santana

A world filled with darkness
Where the blind lead the insane,
Remains of charred corpses
On display throughout
the cities of the damned
We all have been stained by hate,
Embrace mankinds history
That has been written in blood

Spoken truth, out loud. Greatly expressed.

Repaying the favour for reviewing one of mine!

I love this, despite it being so short. "Where the blind leave the insane" is awesome. Possibly reminiscent of certain governments right now? Final two lines are so utterly true. Definitely adding this to my library.

You are welcome
poignant and true! humanity's reality summed up in eight lines. I often ask myself are we doomed or is there hope in the distant future?
very nicely penned.

Well thank you very much Afraa, haha.
At every point in history we meet a chapter of the insane leading the blind.. turmoil and disaster don't fall far behind. Your poem recites the passage of history to its complete terrifying truth that we are a species living in a world of darkness and we never really wanted to turn on the light. This is why I take you as a brother, your poetry is just raw and honest and you never let the demons hide in the background.

Very ferocious, profound write...So few words that sadly speaks the truth.
A write that needed to be penned, for your words cut through the
Facade of today's narcissistic society. Just brilliant! Thanks for

Damn that would be a sight to see. I would admire that right before my head was blown clean off.
This is short but tells the sad truth! I really liked this one.
This poem contains a vivid imaginary style.
tells how friendly the world looks. But the truth is bitter. We all are full of hatred.
Bloodshed everywhere.
